Lesson 8.3: Set the "Default" Display
of the Calendar Page
When visitors or participants view your calendar page they will see either
the "desk view" of the calendar ...
... or the "Wall" view. You can set the default view that appears
to visitors when they first view the calendar.
Go to the Web Site Manager Page. Make sure you are logged in as the Web Site Administrator.
Look for the Events Icon and Links to the left.
Click on "Add an Event to Your Calendar" link.
Click the "Update" Button on the Calendar Page. The update calendar screen will appear in the right
side of the screen (see image in step #5).
View the current default calendar display on the right
side of the calendar page.
Click the link under the current view to change the default.
For example, in the example to the left, the link is "Set default calendar display to wall view."
Once this link is clicked, the next time a user views your calendar, the
default view will appear as you have set it. In this example, it will appear as the Wall View.
