Lesson 7.8: Add/Edit Content on a Freeform Page

A freeform page is a page that can dislplay an HTML page which may or may not link to other HTML pages. When you created your freeform page, you uploaded at least one starting HTML page. You can edit your freeform page and add more files or images.

Go to a Freeform Page in your Web Site.       Click on the Edit Page button. You will be taken to an edit/preview mode of your page where you can add/edit content.       View the "Edit Content On This Page" Page.  This page is an edit/preview page that shows you a list of all of your freeform pages. On this page you can:   Preview a Freeform Page Edit a Freeform Page Rename a Freeform Page Change your default Freeform Page Delete a Freeform Page   Click the "Preview" Link Beside of the Freeform Page you wish to view. You will be taken to the "Preview Freeform Page" to view your page. Click the Done button at the bottom of the page to return to the "Freeform Administration" Page.       Click the "Edit" link beside of the Freeform Page you wish to edit.   This link takes you to the page where you can make changes to the HTML of your Freeform Page. When you have made your changes, you can click the Done button at the bottom of the page to be returned to the "Freeform Administration" Page.     Click the "Rename" link beside of the Freeform Page that you wish to rename.   Change the name of the text inside of the text entry field and click the Done button at the bottom of the page to be returned to the "Freeform Administration" Page.       Click the "Make Default" Link beside of the Freeform Page you wish to make your default Freeform Page. The Freeform Page listed first is your default page. All other listed below the first page are not your default page. You may click on the "Make Default" link beside of any pages listed below the first page to make it the default page, thus being listed first on the "Freeform Administration" Page.       Check the box to the left of the Freeform page you wish to delete and then Click the Delete Button.       Click the Done button at the bottom of the page once you have finished editing your Freeform Page.
