Lesson 4.5: Edit Web Site Logo

Your web site logo is an image that represents your web site. Your logo may
appear in your web site if a logo feature is published to pages in your web site. If you change your logo here, it will automatically update everywhere it appears.

Make sure you are logged in as a Web Site Administrator and Click the Web Site Manager Button.

Scroll to the Preferences Option Section.
It is highlighted in green.

Click on Edit Web Site Logo.

Click the checkbox underneath the current log on the "Edit Web Site Logo" screen ONLY if you no longer want to display any logo.

Enter an image file name or click the browse button, to choose a new logo.
Choose a GIF or JPG image file with a .GIF or .JPG extension.
[
Note: Microsoft Internet Explorer and AOL users might not see a Browse button on the page. This is a problem with certain versions of these browsers. Click here for a fix if you don't see a Browse button.]

Enter the new width and height in pixels (optional).
The width and height default to 72 pixels. To change the image display size, enter the new width and height in pixels. If left blank, the original image size is used. For optimal results, your image should rarely exceed 300 pixels in width or 150 pixels in height. [
Warning: Only put in a pixel amount for either the width OR the height. If you put an amount in for both, your photo will likely be skewed] [Note: 72 pixels = 1 inch = 2.54 centimeters.]

Click the Done button at the bottom of the page to save the newly updated logo and exit the page.

To exit the Web Site Manager, Click the "Return to Your Site Name Home Page" link on your Web Site Manager Page.
