Lesson 10.2: Publish Message Boards to your Web Site

 
When adding or editing a posting on a page or creating a posting layout, participants or Web Site Administrators can insert links to message board topics that were previously created using Web Site Manager. You can choose from multiple styles and formats for the message board topic list. You can choose the list style, bullet, font, background, and more for the list. You can also choose which topics display on the list.
 
Go to the Edit Page.
Make sure you are logged in as the Web Site Administrator.

     
Click to Add a Posting.

     
Select the "Message Boards" option form the drop down list and click the preview button to see the message board options.

     
Click on a Message Board Layout.

     
 

Name Posting and Choose a Message Board to Publish.
You can choose to link to the following:

  • All Message Board Topics
  • A Specific Message Board Topic
 

     
Click the Continue Button at the bottom of the page.

     
View New Posting.
You will recieve a message which says "Your posting was successfully submitted and approved for publication."

     
Scroll to the bottom of the pack and click the done button if you like the message board list style and settings.
