Set calendar properties

The Web Site Administrator decides if the calendar is public or private, active or inactive. The default settings are public and active.

  • A public calendar can be viewed by everyone.
  • A private calendar can be viewed only by participants.
  • An active calendar can be viewed and updated.
  • An inactive calendar cannot be viewed or updated (in other words, the calendar is hidden from view but still exists.)

Only the Web Site Administrator can change these settings and the calendar page name and description. You can do this through the Web Site Manager or on the calendar page itself.
