Publish content
As a participant or Web Site Administrator, you can add text, graphics, and other content to web pages. The kind of content you add depends on the layout you choose. For example, you can add images only if you choose a layout that includes a place for images. You can add sport scores if you choose the Sports layout. If a layout doesn't include the features you want, you can create your own layout.

After you click
Insert New Posting Here and choose the layout, the Publish Content page appears. You now need to add information depending on which layout you previously chose.

Using Smart Features

Features that include frequently changing information, such as mini-calendars, message board topics, or participant lists, are called Smart Features. On the web page, they appear with a blue triangle  and a link that you can click to change the feature's formatting. More importantly, smart features are automatically updated throughout a Web Site when the original information changes. For example, when the Web Site's calendar changes, the mini-calendar in your posting changes, too.

Note: After you add a Smart Feature and return to the Publish Content page, you must click the Smart Feature link under each smart feature to either format the style or decide which feature to link to. If you go return to the Publish Content page, the drop-down list no longer appears. Only a representation of the feature and a message telling the user to exit the page to edit that feature appears.
