What is the Homepage?

Each Web Site by default contains built-in pages such as homepage, newsletter, and calendar. Users may then edit those pages or add new pages. The homepage is the first page within a Web Site. It is the "guide" to the rest of the site. The homepage is an area to list links to other pages of the site and for adding postings (such as stories, message, and pictures).

Web Site Administrators can make this feature visible to the general public or keep it a private Web Site feature, visible only to its participants. If the homepage is private, participants must log in before viewing.

Homepage postings may have a link to "continue" a lead story on a second page. Clicking this link displays the remainder of a story.

Guests and participants can view the Homepage, but only Web Site Administrators can change the Homepage. Participants can add postings to the Homepage if the Administrator has given them permission to do so. The Homepage may be changed in the following ways.
