Participants or Web Site Administrators can insert links to
message board topics that were previously created using Web Site Manager. You can choose from multiple styles and
formats for the message board list. You can choose the list style, bullet, font, background, and more for the list.
You can also choose which topics display on the list.
To access the Message Board Link Options
page
- From the page containing the message board feature, click
the Edit Page option at the top of the page.
- From the Edit Content on this Page page, scroll through the
postings on the page and find the message board topic list posting.
- Click the
Format Discussion
Topic option below the message board.
To use the Message Board Link Options page
- Choose one of the following options that affect only the
current posting:
- Format the link style. Click this option to select whether you want the topics to display in one or more columns and to
choose font color, bullets, background colors, and more. For instructions, see Format links to message board topics.
- Select message board topics. Click this option to choose the topics you want to display in this posting. You can select all topics
or select specific topics. For instructions, see Select links to message board topics.
- Choose one of the following options that affect all message
board topics. Use these options as shortcuts to the Web Site Manager Message Board options.
- Add
a Message Board Topic.
Click this option to add more topics to the message board.
These topics will appear in your list of topics from which
you can choose. For instructions, see Add
a message board topic.
- Edit Message Board Topics: Click this option to update an existing topic in the message board. For instructions, see View or edit a message board topic.
