Smart Feature: List of associated Web Sites When adding or editing a posting on a channel web page or creating a page layout for a channel page, participants or Web Site Administrators can insert a list of associated Web Sites (sites that are listed with this channel). When someone adds or deletes related Web Sites using Web Site Manager, any lists you inserted using the Smart Feature show the updated sites automatically. You can choose the list style, bullet, font, background, and more for this Smart Feature. You can also choose what information about the Web Site displays. How do you use this Smart Feature? You can use this feature only on channel Web Sites. When you view the page showing the inserted Smart Feature Web Site links, you can click on a link and go directly to it. Where can you use this Smart Feature? You can use Smart Features on any page in the Web Site, including the Interest Guide channel page. When inserting a posting, select Channels from the Layout drop-down list and select a layout that contains the Channel feature. When editing a posting, clickAssociated Web Sites for Channels to format the list of sites. Although you publish and format Smart Features in postings on any page, you update their content globally via the Web Site Manager console. To change the Web Sites associated with this Web Site, return to Web Site Manager and click the Change Web Site Channel Listing option. Note: You can use this Smart Feature only if your System Manager enabled participants to publish.
