Change settings for all pages

As Web Site Administrator, you can change the properties of web pages after you've created them. If you want to make changes on all pages, go through the Web Site Manager and click Change page names/settings. If you want to make changes on a single page, click on Change page order/delete pages, then click Edit in the row of the page you want to edit.

  1. From the Web Site Manager, click Change page names/settings.
  2. Find the pages you want to edit, then you can make the following changes:

Hide or display a page

You can hide a page on the Web Site so that the page still exists but isn't visible. By default, Page Status is set to Active. Changing the status to Inactive hides the page from all viewers, including the Web Site Administrator.

  1. From the Web Site Manager, click Change page names/settings.
  2. Click Edit in the row of the page you want to hide.
  3. Under Page Status, click Inactive to hide the page.
  4. If a page is hidden and you want to display it, click Active to make the page visible.

Restrict who can view the page

You can also hide a page from registered users but still make it visible to participants. For example, if you publish personal content, you may only want participants to view it. By default, Page Access is set to Public. Changing it to Private hides the page from nonparticipants.

  1. From the Web Site Manager, click Change page names/settings.
  2. Click Edit in the row of the page you want to change.
  3. Under Page Access, click Private to hide the page from nonparticipants.
  4. If a page is hidden from nonparticipants and you want to restore access, click Public.

Change a page name, description, and number of postings

You can change the page name, description, and number of postings displayed on that page.

  1. From the Web Site Manager, click Change page names/settings.
  2. Click Edit in the row of the page you want to change.
  3. Type the new name in the Page Name text box.
  4. Type the new description in the Page Description text box.
  5. If you want to limit the number of postings that can be displayed on the page, select the number from the drop-down list.
