The process of editing a page is similar for Web
Site Administrators and participants. The Web Site Administrator can add, edit, change layout, copy, move, or delete
any posting on the Web Site. Participants with publishing permissions can only modify their own postings. If a
viewer doesn't have to log in as a participant, guests can view a page but can't modify it.
After you add or modify content, the changes take
place immediately if the Web Site Administrator has chosen to automatically post all publishing changes. Otherwise,
your new posting will have to be reviewed and approved before it's posted.
Note: You can make complex changes (also called Smart Features), such as editing the Web Site
logo, web page links, and contact information, by clicking the link under the Smart Feature.
You can:
- Click Edit This Page.
- Scroll to find the place for the new posting.
- Click Click to Insert a New Posting Here.
- Choose a layout.
- Add the image, image caption, page title, introductory
text, and other information.
Note:
Attached files, such as images, cannot be larger than 10 megabytes.
- Click Continue.
- Click Edit This Page.
- Scroll
to find the posting you want to edit. It must be your own posting.
- Click Edit Posting.
- Add
or change the image, image caption, page title, introductory
text, and other information.
- Click Continue.
- Click Move Up
next to a posting to move it up.
- Click Move Down
next to a posting to move it down.
- Click Edit this Page, then Copy Posting under the content you want to copy.
- Click the Selected
Pages radio button to copy the posting to selected pages.
- Click the All Pages radio button to copy the posting to all pages in the Web Site.
- Click the page to which
you want to copy the content. To select several pages, hold
down the Control key, then click each page.
- Click Copy. You'll receive a confirmation of the change.
- Click
Delete
next to the posting you want to delete.
- Click
the next Delete
button if you really want to delete the posting or Cancel
if
you change your mind.
