Web Site Administrators can remove any custom page in a Web Site. You
cannot remove pages that came as defaults with your site (home page, calendar, general chat, and other pages the
System Administrator gave you access to). If you delete a page, it will be permanently removed, including all content
on that page*. If you don't want to permanently remove a page, you can hide it from view until you
would like to use it again.
- From the Web Site Manager, click Alter
page order / delete pages.
- Click Delete in the row of the page you want to delete.
- Click Delete again if you really want to delete the page.
* Special Note:
If you delete a freeform publishing
page, the page that deleted will no longer appear on the Web
Site, but the actual HTML file and its supporting files (graphics and other secondary files) will still be in your
freeform publishing directory. You can access this directory by clicking the Update
Page button from any freeform page on the Web Site.
