You can create your own
posting layout if you don't like any of the predefined layouts.
There are several choices involved depending on what kind of posting
you're creating. For example, if you're posting a new calendar
entry, you'll have fewer options involved than in a posting that
includes images, text, and links.

These instructions apply to viewers using Netscape Navigator 4.x

Navigator 3.x or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x, see Create
a layout.
denotes information that you must enter.
- After clicking Click
to Insert New Posting, click Create
New Layout.
- Type a descriptive name for the layout in the Layout Name text box.
- Select the category that best describes the layout from the Feature
category selected drop-down list, then select Preview.
- To add a feature, drag
a feature from the Feature Palette and drop it in a box within
the Layout Grid. Click the arrows to view additional features.
To do this, click a feature, hold down your mouse button, and
move your mouse to the right. When the cursor is over the box
where you want to place the feature, let go of the mouse button
to drop the feature into the box.
Note: The Layout
Grid represents the web page. Each cell represents an area in the web page. For example, the cell in the first
row, first column represents the upper left corner of the web page. Use the vertical scroll bar on the right to
view additional grid boxes.
- To replace a feature you've dragged to the Layout Grid with another
feature, drag the new feature into that same box.
- To remove a feature once you put it in the Layout Grid, drag the None
feature into that same box.
- Click the check box
next to a feature to hide it until the reader clicks on a link
to expand the posting. A link that shows "Continued"
will appear instead of the feature.
- Click Continue.
- Add the content of your posting.
