If you are a participant of a web site and have clicked on a chat link,
you will immediately enter into the chatroom. If you have not logged on, you will be asked to do so before entering
the chat room.
The chat room includes a frame at the top which includes a link back
to the page from which you entered the chat room.
The actual chat text appears in the middle frame. There is also
a bottom frame.
Once you have entered the chat room, you will see your login name and
the login names of any other visitors in this chat room to the right. To enter a message to be posted in the chat
text area, click in the bottom text entry field within the middle frame and type your message. Hit the enter key
to send/post the message. Refer to diagram below:
When others enter chat, their login names will also appear to the right
where your login name is listed. It will also appear in front of that person's message so you will know who is
"speaking."
You can exit chat by leaving the chat page. Clicking to go to another
page will automatically log you off of chat.
