Participants
or Web Site Administrators can insert links to chat transcripts
previously created using Web Site Manager. A transcript is the
text saved from a chat session. When more chat session transcripts
are created, the transcript list you inserted shows the additional
transcript text automatically. You can select All transcripts
or select individual transcripts.
To access the Transcripts Link Options page:
- From the page containing the chat transcipts link, click
the Edit Page option at the top of the page.
- From the Edit Content on This Page page, scroll through the
postings on the page and find the chat transcript link posting.
- Click the
Format Chat Transcripts
option near the chat link posting.
To use the Transcripts Link Options page:
- Choose one of the following options that affect only the
current posting:
- Link
style.
Click this option to select whether you want the chat transcript
links to appear in one or more columns and to choose font
color, bullets, background colors, and more. For instructions,
see Format
links to chat transcripts.
- Link
to which transcripts?
Click this option to choose the chat transcript links you
want to appear in this posting. You can select all or specific
transcripts. For instructions, see Select
links to chat transcripts.
- Choose the
following option that affects all chat transcripts. Use the
option as a shortcut to the Web Site Manager Chat options.
- Edit
Chat Transcripts.
Click this option to edit, delete, reorder, or rename existing
transcripts. The updated information appears in your list
of chat transcripts from which you can choose. For instructions,
see Edit
Chat Transcripts.
