Change a posting layout

A posting is content that the Web Site Administrator or a participant with publishing privileges adds to a web page. When you add a posting, you have to choose a layout for that posting. The layout determines how text, graphics, and other features are arranged on the web page. After you add a posting, you can choose a different posting layout. For example, you may decide that you'd rather have the image appear above the title instead of below.

Note: If you previously created your own layout, refer to Change an HTML layout (for users with older browsers) or Change a Java layout (for users with new browsers). The following procedure applies only if you previously chose a predefined layout.

  1. Click Edit This Page, then Change Layout. The current layout is indicated by the statement "Your posting currently uses this layout."
  2. Click the image of the layout you want to use. Your new layout is automatically published.
