You can associate your Web Site with any number
of channels. Channels are categories of interests through which users might search. For example, your Rocket Club
page might be listed in several categories: rockets, clubs, science, and space. The
community directory, called the Interest Guide, lists all channels.
Two columns display on this page:
- All channels that have not been assigned to your Web Site.
If users search in one of these for your Web Site, they will not find it.
- Channels already assigned to your Web Site. These are the
categories in which your Web Site is listed.
Click any channel to move it from one column to the other.
Note: This does not affect related
Web Sites.
- From the Web Site Manager, click Change
web site channel listings.
- To show only those channels beginning with a specific letter in either
list, click that letter or Any. Clicking Any shows all channels.
- To assign the Web Site to a channel, click the channel's name in the
left column.
To remove the Web Site from a channel, click the channel's name in the right column.
Note: If you eliminate all channel
associations, your site will be listed under a channel titled "uncategorized."
- Click Done.
