Add related Web Site

As a Web Site Administrator, you can add a new Web Site as one of the following:

  • Unrelated (independent) Web Site. An unrelated Web Site is one that is totally independent of any other Web Site in the system. Once you create a Web Site as top level, it will always remain so until deleted. You cannot "move" an unrelated site underneath another one in the future.

  • Related (dependent) Web Site underneath one of your current Web Sites. By creating a related Web Site, you can show relationships between Web Sites. For instance, if you have a Web Site for your church, you could create a related Web Site for each Sunday School class. Related Web Sites can publish calendar and chat events up to "parent" Web Sites.

When you are editing a Site and return to the Web Site Manager to create a related Web Site, you automatically create a site below the one you're currently editing.

  1. From the Web Site Manager, click the Add a related Web Site option at the bottom of the page. The Create a Web Site page appears.
  2. Choose your layout.
  3. Next, you choose the Web Site Administrator. See Select the Web Site Administrator.
  4. After choosing the Administrator, you next enter basic information about the Site. See Create a Web Site.
